SINGAPORE Pasir Ris Park and Bike Riding

One goal I aimed to do while in Singapore is to do bike riding as I have heard from my cousins who also enjoyed weekend cycling in this urban city. So I won’t let it pass until I get to bike around in this lovely place or anywhere else.

PASIR
 RIS Park

The park is situated in the tip most part of the green line, either you travel by bus, train or taxi.

We tried all 3 ways and the cheapest is via train though you will have to allot time and bear some walking until you reach the main area. Another reason that we also chose this park is that they got a specialized store that allows bike rentals.

After not being able to do kayaking and rappelling for that day we proceeded right away to Pasir Ris and went on bike riding for around 5 kilometers traversing the whole area. With me is chappy whom I spent some time for the next 3 days in the City of Lions.

I’ve learned biking since childhood years and it’s amazing to be doing it in a place you think is so highly urbanized but still has managed to create areas to make it possible for leisure and recreational purposes.

It's one perfect choice to unwind since it doesn't have much crowd, knowing it’s already considered as a provincial area. In addition, they also permit tents to be set up for those pigging out wherein you can cook food. It is well equipped with a suitable water supply and well-built benches to rest.

The park also opens with various restaurants serving food and drinks with a perfect ambiance and view overlooking the coastal area.

I have also observed when we arrived that day that personnel’s kept on cleaning the vicinity, as big as it is, the area has been well maintained.

Coffee and JD after the afternoon bike riding
Overall it’s a relaxing day to be spending some quality time together in the park, away from the noise, from crowded streets, all for tranquillity and freedom for a perfect holiday.
