Indochina Travel Expenses

How did we spend PhP 15,000.00 to Backpack Indochina for 11 Days?

We ended the year 2014 with an escapade we never thought we could make possible.

As we waited for 6 months, it gave us enough time to save and prepare for a unique trail visiting countries we never had been before.

I always thought international trips would be too costly and impossible for an ASIAN like me, but we have proved it wrong and maximized the available funds we had turning it into an extraordinary holiday experience.

Truly blessed and humbled as we have made this dream come true.

I have planned for it carefully to make it sure we won't be shortened out of funds but without sacrificing enjoyment and the consistency of being thrilled as we get to know each place, visiting famous attractions and sights.

We all had flexible minds for possible itinerary changes in accordance with weather, cost, safety and also personal preferences since we are traveling as a group.

Along the way I had the luxury of time to fill out my budgeting sheet, thus I have summarized my everyday expenditure for our 11 days of backpacking the 3 countries via border crossing.

Note: I paid PhP 4,000.00 extra for my Bangkok to Manila trip as I booked late and was hopeful for another lower airfare promotion. I had purchased the tickets ahead for my cousins costing them PhP 2,072.00 only c",).....A BIG LESSON for me.
