Sipalay Weekend Travel Guide

 SIPALAY
WEEKEND TRAVEL GUIDE

Another weekend getaway has been spontaneously scheduled for summer visiting one of the hidden treasure – that’s SIPALAY in Negros Oriental.

This tourist spot can be reached either coming from Bacolod or via Dumaguete estimated around 4 hours bus ride from the main city. The province boasts a number of exquisite tourist sites and these include bays, caves, falls, beautiful beaches, including the famous Nataasan and Sugar Beach in which you can plan to visit in one whole day.

This is one of the longest travels I did including ferry and bus rides and that’s nearly 500 km traveling overland from my hometown in Cebu. Once I have reached my destination it paved all the agony of long wait times and shortened sleep as it’s all worth it once you reached the island.

At this point, I must say there’s not that much crowd and I guessed the town has been underrated over what a tourist can discover in this island paradise.

I am definitely sure that this municipality will continue to prosper in the next coming years – a safe destination, with kind residents, and affordable accommodations.

MY SIPALAY TRAVEL Guide is just a weekend getaway. This is my first solo vacation since I started working, after being a bum for nearly 2 years. I realized I should find a way to make it happen despite the struggles and stresses of my new night shift job, with negative chances of going on leave since my office mates have been a mighty flash in getting all the Mondays and Fridays for their summer vacations.
