How to get to Hua Lamphong Station from Suvarnabhumi Airport

I am creating this post, to sum up how we reached safely, quickly although with a minor confusion but economically from Suvarnabhumi Airport going to Hua Lamphong Station which is also beside Bangkok Railway Terminal.

Above Photo shows how we detoured ourselves exiting Hua Lamphong station on the wrong side of the street finding the Railway Terminal since we exited on #4. This accordingly was an instruction provided on a blog researched by Yen.

It’s pleasing to know that Thailand has been efficient in providing fast easy access with its MRT system. This transportation service has been catering much to so many tourists and its local people. 

Traffic is still undeniable in the city but going to main destinations, one has this great option.

This I find really convenient for someone who loves to travel often in Thailand, knowing that the city is a central destination for border crossings going to another country including popular provinces within its territory.

On the same day that we arrived in the country, we needed to go straight to Bangkok Railway Train station for our ticket claiming which we purchased online. 

The train service departs at night but we wanted to be familiar with the area to prepare all things and to make ourselves at ease before departure. 

We will be having 2 train rides to reach Hua Lamphong station and exit from that place to go straight to Bangkok Railway Terminal. 

DIRECTIONS going to Hua Lamphong Station:

• Go to the 2^nd Floor Airport Rail Link

• Buy the Airport Rail Link Ticket at 35 Baht

• 1st train ride and  make a stop at Makassan Station

• Go east side opposite Line which is Petchaburi Station

• 2nd train ride and stop at Hua Lamphong Station

• Exit #2 --- > Going to Bangkok Railway Train Station :-)  
• You are on the right side when you see the main entrance of the Railway Terminal with the big signage in it.

2 MRT Rides

1^st Ride – 35 Baht

2^nd Ride – 30 Baht

You can do the same route going back to the airport. Airport Rail Link opens at 6AM so you can get back as early as that schedule.
