There

out at any time of the day.
And
as of this writing, online booking is currently unavailable with Thailand
Railway website. So either you get tickets online via an agency or buy it a day
before your departure.
For
us coming overseas, it makes us at ease to get it ahead.
We
needed to make sure we will be able to get the overnight Sleeper Train 69 for
that day since we had to leave for Vientiane Laos on the same day of our flight
arrival in Bangkok.
From
this, we have decided to book our tickets online a few days before we departed.

As soon as I arrived in Bangkok Railway Station at
12 noon, I inquired from the counter attendant and there were only 11 slots
available by that time.
She said it can get sold out fast any time since most purchases are in groups of tourist.
So it is always good to book in advance.

RAILWAY Terminal Amenities

of ticket counters to cater to so many tourists arriving, includes advanced ticketing, refund counters and for the daily commuters.
- Information
Area within the main entrance providing you a map for

from the attendant and she can answer all your questions communicating
well in English.
- We actually inquire for the nearest

Stalls are available inside with local eateries, café, fruit stands,
KFC, Dunkin Donuts some of the known establishments. A mini grocery store is also available here for you if you need to buy medicines, personal stuff or food stock for an overnight travel.
- The terminal provides
spacious area for the travelers with large seating capacity
- Visit
Rail Travel Aid Counter for Maps, Train Time Table and Brochures are
available for free.
- Baggage Storage (4:00AM – 11:00PM) – since most major train routes leave at night
time, one has to endure the waiting time inside the terminal. Then you can
drop in your stuff while roaming around the city.

30 Baht above depending on the size

station has 14 platforms with Trains well maintained and cleaned by the
management before and after each train departure.
- Big LCD
screen airing mostly local shows.

- 2nd Floor of the terminal building beside the Cybernet Café Shop in line with Black Canyon Coffee Shop
- Find the glass walled office with “SK” logo in it.
