Ho Chi Min City Day Tour

Everything was all set for Saigon City Tour on our 2nd day in Vietnam.
In our short stay we have resided in Ho Chi Min area and from this, we knew we can only afford visits within the city based on the time we have allotted for our VNM period. Initially, we researched about these famous tourist spots and got maps, but as we’ve checked the rates, we thought paying the agency is worth enough.

ADVANTAGES of our Day Tour
 CITY TOUR Price: Php 398.00/person
  • Free transportation - saves you on your fare allowance
  • No worries about directions
  • Had the chance of meeting new friends from all around the world who joined us in our group tour
  • Saves us much time and energy - given we have to wake up the following day for our bus ride going to SR
  • Tour is more informative and meaningful – having a passionate tour guide
  • Suggested by a friend who once visited here day tours are affordable in Vietnam and booking via an agency is a wise decision especially if you’re traveling in groups. You have many options along the back packer’s area and this we have prioritized on our first-day c/o via Vinh Guesthouse.

As instructed to us we gathered in Vinh Guesthouse office around 8:00 AM waiting for our shuttle van service for the whole day tour. This is in Pham Ngu Lao road or commonly known as the “backpackers” area in Saigon.

We had “Jackie” as our guide for the day. He was an awesome guy who is so dedicated to his job, whose passion is to share and educate stories about Vietnam history and culture. He spoke fluent English I should comment and he was very friendly all throughout.

This guy has also shared all inputs and stories for each destination we have visited. He took us back on in the backpackers’ area for our lunch in which you will have a vast option of cuisine depending on your cravings.

On our last stop, we were able to make a “group shot” before we bid goodbye to each other.

Our 2nd Day was superb, leaving all our hearts with lasting memories of Vietnam from how its history has molded its people.

The chance of meeting Lovely folks on our day tour all with cheerful personality representing from Czech, Malaysia, Indonesia, Korea plus having “Jackie” as our tour guide I must say was an awesome guy.

As we end the day we all share the same sentiment that we hoped we could have stayed longer and that one day we could be back here and see more of the beautiful Saigon, Exquisite Vietnam.

Kudos to this day!

War Remnants

Visiting the Museum was an eye opener for us all. I never thought Vietnam had such cruel some colonization, my heart aches reading the stories. All my hopes for this country to rise again amidst past devastating decades of history.
