Exploring Bangkok and its Temples or they also call it Wat will be requisite to everyone spending a holiday in the country. It comprises a big and small group of wats around the city and the architecture is such a beauty. These temples continue to undergo restoration to preserve its exquisiteness.

We have visited Wat Pho, Wat Arun and The Royal Palace temples for our Thailand Escapade. Some temples are free and some require a certain amount of entrance fees. One important thing to consider is to dress properly to be able to get inside with no hassle and in respect to customs and traditions.

See my post: Bangkok Temple Tour

TukTuk is the 3 wheeled public utility vehicle of Bangkok still widely operating in the city. It is particularly designed for a comfortable and fast mode of transportation.

A local friendly driver has mentioned to us to always ride the yellow plated Tuktuk when traversing to make sure of appropriate rates to pay.

I appreciate how the city has maintained to grow Flowers and variety of Plants along the main road.

And even inside the temples, you get see them growing so alive adding up to its beauty.

Celebrated every 5th of December is Thailand's King's Birthday. We happen to arrive a day after that special event.

It is considered to be one of the most anticipated events in the country, with special decorations set up in the city specifically in the main roads with street buntings and portraits of the King, this is how the locality expressed their utmost respect.

Shopping in Chatuchak “weekend” market is one popular bargaining activity in Bangkok, from hardware to clothing to food everything you need at a good deal & quality is available here, learn to haggle buy more pay less.

Public parks are also anywhere in Bangkok and you can drop by for a relaxing atmosphere or buy some local delicacies or just play around and take photos.

Pigeons are abundant around the city flocking in Public parks in Bangkok. Just make sure to ask from any personnel if you are allowed to proceed with pigeon feeding.

Pushcarts and Street eats. The food scene in the streets of Bangkok are a must try, as affordable and mouth watering it can be. When you walk along the road you'd be seeing a variety of local food, cooked in big pans.

I find everything on the streets a creative food art. Try there own local servings and it is gracefully prepared. We have visited this small restaurant along with Chao Praya port in Tha Tien pier that serves good Pad thai noodles.

Fruit stands are also available anywhere roaming around, sliced fruits served iced up at an affordable price.

Khao San is the backpacker's purgatory as they commonly call it, everything you need Is in here from clothes to accessories, food and good drinks, accommodation, bars, music and all.
