OUR
BIKING EXPERIENCE
The day before we left Siem Reap we have scheduled and made it sure we get to rent bicycles. The scorching heat of the sun wasn't a problem at all, we were very excited to go outdoors and start our adventure around 3:00pm.
Bou Savy Guesthouse Bicycles for rent |
Initially I asked the guesthouse staff if they knew this popular cafe and have estimated it will just be near, more or less 5 minutes and offered
for the tuktok service.
We hesitantly replied we will be using a bicycle going there. In which we have rented the ones in the guesthouse for half day price.

DRIVING AROUND SIEM REAP CITY CENTER requires a different level of energy for any tourist to experience, especially when you will be biking along the main roads.
You have to be in full alert driving side by side with 4 wheeled vehicles in a constant and a little fast speed.
Admittedly it was scary at first, but when I got at eased with my pedals and have established my balance it was a smooth happy drive all the way.
We went straight all the way and YES we got lost….... to our excitement we have detoured ourselves.
A local we enquired said just go straight. And never had we known, we were already near the Angkor Wat Entrance, farther than our desired location.
Detouring ourselves we have drove an additional 30 minutes instead of reaching the cafe for 10minutes.
We both laughed at this funny moment, one great ride in Siem Reap.
This has been a perfect afternoon bike ride and with a little detour we have managed to reach our main destination safely c",) - The 1961 Gallery. We dropped by at the Central park area to witness the last sunset in our stay in Siem Reap.
