Company Team Building

From the daily demands of our job we planned for it ahead so as not to disrupt and miss out any task and obligations. We surely don’t want to be flying away and still be bothered with some task undone. It was a great break to have joined the company’s yearly team building event and for the year 2012 I was luckily listed being part of the training.

Every year the company gathers employees for a team building activity with the purpose of reuniting the workforce and at the same time enriching them with the organizations core values and goals.

For the year 2013, the company has once again organized this event with the venue located in Meralco Management and Leadership Development Center in Tanay Rizal.

The team building affair was also spearheaded by a well known facilitator who has completed numerous trainings for the past years. She was indeed a very inspiring speaker leading all the activities  and bringing the motivation in each of us. It’s an advantage though that she has also initiated precedent Company’s event knowing the company  for years.








I consider this weekend getaway as a perfect opportunity to know more the company and meet other people those from the main office and the new hires. 

At the same time it’s a perfect avenue to unwind all for pleasure and camaraderie - all expenses shouldered by the company from airfare, accommodation, food and travel with allowances. For this event, we were grouped into 5 with different activities lined up to test our patience, abilities, and techniques in winning any challenges as a solid TEAM.

RANDOM THOUGHTS 
In any organization problems, conflicts, differences in personalities and opinions arise. Big realization is to be able to work hand in hand and not just for your own self desires valuing one common objective. To recognize one true leader is one crucial aspect towards achieving goals, thereby giving importance to opinion and respect. This goes along with compliance of the company measures and controls.

I consider this a meaningful event that any company should consider organizing, promoting work life balance. Based on experience, it strengthened once work ethics at the same time it guided us in valuing our jobs despite any grievances. Considering each of our weaknesses and opportunities, to become an asset to the company with our skills and seen potentials is of utmost importance. 

The whole event ended with a short program to discuss each teams learning, and it concluded with a night of buffet and music, bonding with the Company’s Top heads. It was truly a memorable occasion treasured by everybody. Kudos to ALPI and the organizing team.
