Cruising along the main
__________________________________________
Chao Praya is considered to be a vast river that flows along the city center of Thailand. It is surrounded by different establishments, luxurious hotels to malls and popular historical tourist spots.
It's one enjoyable experience for any traveler to partake with existing riverboats operating making it an important means of transportation for any local.
Drop by any nearest pier or port and start your route from there. (See Chao Praya Express Boat for more detailed information.)

Initially, we planned to visit the Floating market, but itinerary changes in consideration to my travel companions' preference. Most definitely I will be doing it the next time I come back to Thailand, not too soon now.
This day gave us the opportunity to cruise the river and visit the Temple of the Dawn allowing us to appreciate one of the best and well-known attraction when in Bangkok.
A view of the Tha Tien Pier - the nearest from our accommodation. |
We have discovered this small building in Tha Tien Pier and on the 2nd floor is a local restaurant that serves one of the best Pad
Thai Noodles at an affordable price as suggested to us by Architect Na.
Nearing sunset we left the area and cross the river to get a better view of Wat Arun Temple in which of the passengers were all tourist, also on the same route with us.
This public boat crosses back and forth at a cost of 3.50 Baht |
